Let's Fly Away Card

It's summertime and hard to concentrate sitting at a desk when the sun is shining and the lake or ocean is calling your name.  Plan a getaway with a favorite travel companion and send them a card to make your escape.  I just got these cloud dies and they are so much fun to work with.

Let's Run Away Card

Oh wouldn't it be fun to run away as an adult?  You threatened to do it as a child but as an adult with a credit card...you can get a lot further away.  I used a different technique in this card.  The carrot and basket were separate stamps.  I stamped an additional basket onto the top end of a post-it note over the glue area.  I carefully cut it out and placed it on the regular stamp.  Then I stamped in the carrots to they appear to be sitting in the basket ready to go to the picnic.  This stamp is actually for Easter but I made it into a summer card by using different colors and a different sentiment stamp.

Dream of getting away or planning that special vacation?  I can certainly relate with blizzard warnings here.  Here's a shaker card that will brighten someone's day.  I made a porthole to give a serene ocean view.  It's made of stacked 130# diecut circles by using the two largest dies at the same time and running it through my Cuttlebug.
