Happy Fall cardI

New markers meant a good reason to create a new Fall card.  I decided to try out Ohuhu markers and they are very similar to Copic except for the tips on the narrow end.  Very nice and I do prefer them over Copic.

Happy Fall Coneflower card

 

One of my talented crafty friends has been making the most beautiful coneflower cards with this die.  It's my mom's favorite flower to look out and see in her garden so I made this card for her to celebrate the first day of fall, which is today.  I blended some ink into the flower to just darker the cone and petals a bit.

Gathering Acorns card

Fall is my favorite season and with that comes squirrels that are busy gathering food for the winter.  They are like me...if it's cold out, I want to be tucked away somewhere warm with good comfort food.  Since acorns and squirrels aren't very colorful, I gave him a Mike Didka sweater full of lots of colors.
