Happy First Day of Spring!  I always celebrate this day no matter what the weather is like outside.  This girl gnome is sure cute and naturally I colored her in my favorite color of purple.

Black cats are the most beautiful but are the hardest to color.  I made this beauty to send to a friend and it resembles one of her fur babies.  I love Spring, so the sentiment does not reflect my feelings...just that of a grumpy cat.

Hello Spring card

Here in the northern plains, we definitely welcome Spring with open arms.  Sure there's some flooding, lots of puddles and an occasional blizzard that tries to dampen our spirits but it's the promise of green grass, robins and actually opening your windows that keep us going strong.  I had to pick up this cute stamp to celebrate it all.  Welcome first day of Spring!

Hello Spring Daisy card

I realize these are somewhat more Fall colors than they are Spring.  But this is for a friend that lives in the southern part of the states and cannot grow the Spring flowers that I was going to send seeds for so I had to see what was a flower that grows in their location.  It was fate that at the same time that Essentials by Ellen released this beautiful stamp set.

Sweet Spring Hello card

I'm tired of looking outside the windows and all I see is snowbanks.  The snow is as high as my hedges.  Way too much and it's even worse out on the boulevard and backing out of your driveway is like playing a game of Frogger.  So this new stamp set was perfect to brighten my day and my craft area.
