Happy Fall Coneflower card

 

One of my talented crafty friends has been making the most beautiful coneflower cards with this die.  It's my mom's favorite flower to look out and see in her garden so I made this card for her to celebrate the first day of fall, which is today.  I blended some ink into the flower to just darker the cone and petals a bit.

I recently got a couple beautiful embossing folders from Simon Says Stamp.  I tried putting ink down on the flat surface.  Craft fail.  I tried it twice and threw those out.  So I stuck with just white this time.

I made this birthday card for one of my crafty friends.  I did try to emboss the type but it muddied up so I stuck to stamping.  I was fortunate to get this Mum stamp from another crafty friend.  Crafty friends are the best!
