One of my friends needed a card for her neighbor so I immediately went to this Newton's Nook stamp set.

Sunflower With Sympathy card

 

I love sunflowers.  I usually plant a line along my house but with our late Spring this year, that was postponed until next year.  I mixed two stamp sets from Taylored Expressions to make this sympathy card.

Pansies and hydrangeas are my favorite flowers.  I saw this fantastic set from Essentials by Ellen and had to have it.  I even bought the paper pads at the same time and made this card on the same day I got it in the mail.

Sending Lots of Love card

 

I've always loved this set from Taylored Expressions.  I decided to try a little water coloring using their inks to create this card.

These blooms reminded me of the apple blossoms that are now scattered across my back yard like confetti.  I had so many options as to what kind of card to make but I'm really short on sympathy cards so that won.  Love the script that Taylored Expressions used for the stamp.

Unfortunately there's been way too many sympathy cards going out these days.  Taylored Expressions created a beautiful set of flowers to use to create the cards with.  I originally planned on a different dark green background and it was that way for a week.  I gently removed the flowers and opted for the Lawn Fawn Speckles background.

I love these hugging bunnies.  They say so much by just the hug without any words.  Perfect for someone who lives far away and you can't be there to give them a hug in person.

I've had this stamp way too long in my collection without being used.  I decided to bring out the distress inks to create a background for it being partially on.  I softened the distress ink by gently wiping with a baby wipe.
