Halloween Vampire Cat card

This kitten doesn't really look too scary, despite having vampire fans.  The bat is the one I'm not to sure about.  This was a fun card to work on and I got to do a little blending of distress inks, fussy cutting, coloring, diecutting...a little bit of everything.

It's not all cat cards here, I do have plenty of dog friends so I make cards that they'll enjoy too.  I thought this little French Bulldog stamp was just too cute. Since the dog is mostly black, there was just minimal coloring to add to it.

Who doesn't love tacos?  Maybe not always hard shells but soft shells are awesome too.  I received this stamp set from Simon Says Stamp as a birthday gift.  I had ordered the other sentiment stamp set just because I love snarky sayings and this set delivers big time.

Thinking Of You Peonies card

Peonies are some of my favorite flowers.  I have 6 plants in my yard and love it when they bloom.  The plants are even beautiful after they are done blooming.  Every fall I just take the hedge trimmers and the plants are ready for winter.  This set from Newton's Nook Designs really capture the beauty of the flowers.  I opted to color in a peach shade rather than the deep pinks and whites that are in my yard.  I think I need to buy a peach bulb for next year to add to my collection.

I think this is one of the most versatile cards I've ever done.  It can be used as a birthday card, get well card, love card or just to cheer someone up.  This cute little hedgehog from Avery Elle was fun to color - I just used my Copics and mimicked the pattern of his back.

Hope Your Day Is Sprinkled With Every Happy Thing card

Sprinkles are everywhere...and I think that's a good thing.  This time I made a sprinkled doughnut card and what better way to have it than with an adorable cat hanging from the middle.  Another fun release from Newton's Nook Designs but I wanted it to be a birthday card so I paired it with a set from Concord & 9th.

If Friends Were Flowers I'd Pick You card

I just love using watering cans in scenes so I absolutely loved this design with kittens and flowers.  What a perfect friendship card with the sentiment.  I chose soft pinks and purples for this card.

Oh Crab! I Forgot Your Birthday card

I love the humor with this sentiment.  It was a fun card to make with the distress ink background and then the colorful umbrella, crab and starfish.  I didn't order the set when it first came out...my willpower lasted 2 weeks before it joined my collection.
