I saw this cute set of salt and pepper shakers in their adorable holder and knew I wanted to make something with my Cricut for it.  Since it's such a small set, I used a smaller font.  Not easy to pick off the excess vinyl but I do like how it turned out.

I needed to make more of these cards and decided she should be a brunette this time.  I also went for a patriotic or super hero outfit.  I think we all know a super hero in these times.

Unfortunately there's been way too many sympathy cards going out these days.  Taylored Expressions created a beautiful set of flowers to use to create the cards with.  I originally planned on a different dark green background and it was that way for a week.  I gently removed the flowers and opted for the Lawn Fawn Speckles background.

When isn't there a day that you can't celebrate someone?  This sweet bunny will help you do that.  You can use it for a birthday, graduation, new job...the possibilities are endless. I did just a quick watercolor on the background so there was only color behind the image.

A sure sign of Spring is a robin.  I know robins are only colorful on the bottom side but I made this to use as a welcome Spring card so it seemed appropriate.  Love these gnomes from Simon Says Stamp.

Black cats are the most beautiful but are the hardest to color.  I made this beauty to send to a friend and it resembles one of her fur babies.  I love Spring, so the sentiment does not reflect my feelings...just that of a grumpy cat.

This is the second set of bunnies from Colorado Craft Company's Lots Of Love set.  These are just as adorable bunnies as on my last card.  I did go for gray bunnies this time but I think I like the brown/beige ones a wee bit better.  But I do love this sentiment.

Mini Gnomes

In my house, Gnomes are out all year long.  I have Christmas, winter, cat, sports and even Easter bunny gnomes.  These sweet Gnomes stand 2" high and come in lots of colors.  I did drag my small Christmas tree up to take their picture because else they looked like they were in a line up.  

I used mini fake furry pompoms, some cute little caps (it is winter afterall) and small wood plugs.

I think everyone needs hugs and what better way to send some while waiting to do so in person.  This sweet set is from My Favorite Things.  I decided it was time to use one of my peek-a-boo dies.  I placed the colored paper on top of my card stock and diecut through both at the same time.

Isn't this gerbil just too cute?  Some people call him a mouse but I think he's too big for that and not big enough for a hamster.  This card started as a St Patrick's Day card but I think it's really more of a friendship card.
