Happy Candy Corn Day!

The big day is finally here - Candy Corn Day!  I made this little gift box with a mix of candy corn, peanuts and Fall M & M's. The die for the tags, the black Chinese take out box, ribbon....it's all from the Paper Door box from Whimsy Stamps.  Believe it or not, I'm not all that into candy corn but am going along with this tongue-in-cheek.

Tomorrow is the big day - National Candy Corn day!  I'm sure everyone is ready but if not, you have 24 hours to get ready.  This kit from Whimsy Stamps is so much fun and was filled with so many goodies.  Cute stamps, dies, papers, treat bags, boxes and Nuvo Drops.  They even included a little bag of candy corn.

You know your craft stash might be too large when it takes you a long time to find your mini springs but it was well worth it to make this little kitten wobble.  My newest stamp set from Newton's Nook Designs that I could not resist.

Fall Friends card

There are a lot of great saying that go with this set.  I opted not to use any and use it just for an every day card for in the Fall.  This was one of the special sets for Stamptember from Simon Says Stamp that used stamps and dies from Newton's Nook Designs.

Oh Christmas Tree card

This stamp is the reason I do not put up a tree.  Every ornament would be scattered throughout the house.  I have a small one that sits on top of the entertainment center.  Perfect solution.

Haunted Halloween Scene card

Here's another of the adorable snowmen from Whipper Snapper Designs that I was talking about in my last blog.  This time I chose soft pastels for my card.  I think the bear might have been intended to be a polar bear but it was just too much white for this card.
