I Go Nuts For You card

I made a masculine Valentine's or just every day love card.  No pinks, no lace...just a simple card with fall colors which is when acorns fall.  I planted an oak a couple years ago in memory of my father because we always had oak trees growing up and it was always entertaining to watch wildlife gathering the acorns every fall.  Squirrels in an acorn was a must have stamp for me and I enjoyed coloring it.

I have a water glass that says this could be vodka and I have a friend that mentions vodka a lot.  Seems like a good birthday card to send her and I know she will appreciate it.  I did have a hard time selecting which saying to use at first but the eyes on the bunny say it all.

Winter Love Shaker card

There are good things about winter like warm sweaters, hot chocolate, watching the first snow fall.  I tried to put some of those feelings into this shaker card with the adorable bunny and cat dressed in warm winter sweaters.  I stacked 4 layers of the rectangle frame to build height for the confetti

Love Hurts Humor Card

If someone wants a gushy Valentine's card...this is not for them.  This cat cupid seems to have a problem with his arrows.  I combined the art from CC Designs and the words from The Cat's Pajamas to create this card. For an added touch, I applied Wink of Stella clear so his wings sparkled.

Beary Special Friend card

We all have that special friend that you want to make sure they have the best birthday ever.  This card is just for that.  Easy coloring with soft shadows on the bear and a simple highlight of the balloon to add dimension.  I had a lot of scraps of bright papers on my cutting table so I used some of them up.

Cozy Fires card

Any pet knows that if there's a warm spot in the house (a fireplace, a registers, a ray of sunshine) that their pet(s) will find it and claim it as their own.  I love this stamp set.  I wish I would have switched the two cats around in color but I was so excited to do a plain gray cat that I colored it first.  Next time...
