You're the Pick of the Patch Card

What better than a cute kitten to help you tell someone that you think they are special?  I had so much fun coloring the kitten and pumpkins.  Also, loved all the fussy cutting.  I put the scissors I use in the supplies picture.  I use this scissors a lot and it works beautifully for tight spaces.  It's a Cutter Bee from EK Tools.

Happy Birthday Dragon Card

OK, I'll be the first to admit that I just don't make a lot of children's birthday cards because there's not a lot of young ones in my families or friends households but I couldn't resist these cute dragons from My Favorite Things.  I did a little tweaking and covering of a bear hand on the birthday cake from another of their stamp sets so the dragon had a cute cake to blow the candles out on.

Reindeer Christmas Card

Who doesn't love a cute reindeer?  This guy is probably the most precious one that I've ever seen.  I colored him for #thedailymarker30day challenge on Instagram and finally got around to making a card.  Sometimes it's hard to pull together cards when you start off with just the colored piece.  I finally had seen a card idea that I knew I could pull this together.

Thank You Cat Card

When I saw this new New York stamp set from Newton's Nook, I thought what a great stamp to make a card for a teacher.  I found a cute thank you in a set from Mama Elephant and made this card.

Sending Good Thoughts Rose Card

I love all of Marcella Hawley's stamps  They are always so detailed and a pleasure to color.  I had just seen an antique flour sifter used for flowers so I colored the one cup to resemble one.

Bring It On Snowman Card

I'm not really a fan of winter but I am of cute snowmen.  I tried a new technique using a snowflake stencil and texture paste.  It's fun and easy to do so there will be a lot more cards using this in the future.

Cat n' Pumpkin Halloween Card

Here's a little scaredy cat peeking out from behind a jack o'lantern.  This was fun to color because of all the fall colors including the multicolored fall leaves.

Turkey Thanksgiving Card

I laughed when I saw this stamp set and knew I had to have it.  It's so fun to look at and it was to color also.  I put down the blue Copic first and then highlighted with the violet Copic.  I also stamped on the inside so someone knows it was for Thanksgiving.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

This was my first time using Zig Clean Color brushes for more than a background.  It was so fun and so easy.  I'm looking forward to doing more embossing and using these brushes in the very near future.

Christmas Snowman & Reindeer Card

Quick & easy Christmas cards are always handy to make for the rush of the season.  The hardest part of this card was running it through to emboss twice (since I do not have a folder big enough for a 5.25 x 5.25 card.  I used a burnisher to gently push the slight line that was pushed down during the second run through.

Hear Me Roar Card

Boost someone up with this adorable lion that roars greeting card.  It had an Easter basked full of eggs but a little fussy cutting took care of that so this card can be used all year long.
